can feel myself
growing heavier in my mind
can't walk it away since
it's drizzling cold outside
thoughts so numb
I don't even wish to write
this
but gotta watch my bleeding
sight
gotta watch as all my life
slips
behind - me
and shit
it's getting dark already
moist air clings to my skin
pressing
stealing the warmth from bones
beneath my flesh
borne out from my soul
that's freezing old
and I.....
just want to get it over with
learned not to bother begging for
help
from the glittering gibbering dead
the fake ones-
the anyones-
the ones who would claim to understand
and these goddamned
live action commercials
they remind me of-
can't keep them out-
hit mute-
so the parade continues on in silence
but for all I've missed
It's getting dark outside already
(shivering)
don't understand this anymore
so cold
so alone
just want to find my way
I just want to go home
just want to find home
someday....

not touched up at all.. just me in a melancholy Fall telling what there is inside of me while the drizzle obscures anything but sweet oblivion It's how I really feel in small or large part all the time in one form or another but overcast wet days can do that can't they? on our way to Winter..... |

(I'm in a minor depression right now - the workout endorphins don't last forever and believe it or not this is my most natural state....yeah it kinda sucks)
